The brainchild of serial entrepreneur Sean Bandawat, the Rupiani's brand celebrates his grandfather, Nonno Sergio Rupiani, and the Rupiani family's journey from Torino, Italy to the Midwest.     When we say "frozen", we don't mean frozen food, like TV dinners. Our proprietary flash-frozen process allows our pizzas to be "frozen in time"—capturing the true taste of Chicago as our pizza artisans intended. It’s like a pause button for nature’s perfect process.

HOW WE DO IT

Proven product, proven technology, and proven team.

1. Rupiani's makes its stuffed deep dish pizzas by hand, in strictly limited small quantity batches, right here-in the heart of the lively River North neighborhood in Chicago.

2. We then transfer our pizzas to heating cabinets: the same heating cabinets made famous by KFC to preserve the crisp in their crispy chicken for hours. From there, they get transferred to our specialty blast chillers, which blast freeze our pizzas "past the danger zone" in just 15 minutes and are 60x more effective at mitigating "drip loss" than traditional freezing.

3. Finally, each pizza order gets packaged and shipped on dry ice, with free expedited shipping to any U.S. address! Simply follow our easy reheating instructions, and you'll be enjoying authentic Chicago taste shortly after opening your box. Seriously, it's that easy.
