Don't forget your Oreos!

Let me tell you a story about a guy I know. We’ll call him… Brad. Not because that’s his name, but because it feels like the name of someone who would do what you’re about to hear.
So Brad’s dating this girl. His (now ex) girlfriend—sweet as sugar, kind to a fault—decides to give him a gift: a pack of Oreos. Simply because she's sweet and thoughtful, and he’s… Brad.
And what does this walking tragedy of judgment do?
He says, “No thanks.”
NO THANKS.
Imagine that. Turning down Oreos from a girl who just gave you a hug and a sweet gift. Brad stood there and rejected the damn cookies.
I asked him later—why? Why didn’t you take them?
His answer?
“I didn’t want it to be weird.”
Weird?! Buddy, what’s weird is that you left behind a perfectly good pack of Oreos from a nice girl.
So if you, dear reader, ever find yourself in a relationship and a girl offers you a snack… just take the damn Oreos.
Here’s the kicker…
Does Brad's current "significant other" know about this Oreos story? If she’s reading this, she does now!
